Manama: June 25 – (BNA) Labor Minister Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan met with the friendly Republic of the Philippines President’s Special Envoy to the GCC Dr Amabel Aguiluz and his accompanying delegation and reviewed with him excellent bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and ways and means to boost these relations in the area of human development and particularly labor cooperation and positive outcomes achieved for the best interest of both friendly countries and peoples.

On this occasion, the Minister praised the contributions of the Philippines expatriate community in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development process citing highly productive, disciplined and cooperative Filipino workforce.

During the meeting, the two sides explored the participation of the Minister of Labor during the second consultative ministerial meeting for labor-exporting Asian nations hosted in the Republic of the Philippines.

On the other hand, Dr. Aguiluz praised excellent bilateral cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Philippines and praised the Ministry’s efforts in providing conditions and preserving the rights of Filipino manpower and his appreciation of positive initiatives launched by the Kingdom of Bahrain in regulating the Labor Market and serious commitment to creating balanced, fair relations between partners in the production process.
